Ever ahead of the curve, Hailey Bieber has traded out her rich brunette hair colour in favour of a honey-glazed blonde. The model's glossy locks have long sparked inspiration for drastic in-salon hair transformations, most recently thanks to her covetable chocolate brown (which was arguably the most highly sought-after colour of last year) and her unexpected 2023 switch to the 'boyfriend bob'.
This new caramel hue is courtesy of hair colourist Matt Rez, who debuted the new look – which he coined "honey vibes" – via Instagram this weekend. The fresh shiny shade is lighter and warmer than Bieber's original neutral tint, completing the full hair transformation following the model's blunt January trim. The boxy new cut has since made moodboards for bobs everywhere, so in true Hailey Bieber fashion, we expect to see this chic, understated colour everywhere in the weeks to come.

While we've come to expect the unexpected from the 26-year-old, we can't say that this warm blonde hue is completely out of the blue. John Frieda colourists Nicola Clarke and Zoe Irwin both predicted a veer towards brighter, fierier blondes, naming the cohesive, barely toned "Uptown blonde" as their leading colour trend for the year.
And Bieber isn't the only celebrity trialling a statement new hair colour for spring. House of The Dragon actress Olivia Cooke has switched out her natural brunette tone for a vibrant and voluminous copper, which she showcased at the 2023 BAFTAs this weekend. Meanwhile, Lily James has committed to the dark side, intensifying her chocolate locks for a bordering-black award-season hue.
