AJ Styles was unable to sign a contract for the tag team match at Fastlane, so John Cena signed it alone. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa were then set to take on Cena in a handicap match.

John Cena cut a bit of a promo on SmackDown this week, and it didn’t take long for Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa to come out. Then things got physical in a hurry.

John Cena took a terrible beating around the ring, and then they set him up on the announce table for a spot. Just as it looked like Cena was going to take a splash through the announce table, LA Knight’s music hit, and LA Knight made his way to the ring.

After clearing Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso out of the ring, LA Knight signed the contract for Fastlane. Now, LA Knight is John Cena’s partner for the October 7th pay-per-view. This was expected, but it still popped the crowd like crazy.
