According to the Hindu, Stalin Jacob, and his friend K. Jeeva were killed in a road accident on Friday, March 3, 2023, in Maraimalai Nagar. Mr. Jacob had recently turned 35 years old. Let me tell you that, Jacob was a member of DMK’s social media cell. Jacob and Mr. Jeeva, a 28-year-old from Sholinganallur, were traveling to Chengalpattu on a two-wheeler on Friday afternoon around 3.45 p.m.
They were attempting to cross GST road in Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpattu district when they were struck by a truck heading toward Chennai. The lorry’s wheels crushed both men. They were taken to a private hospital right away, but around 6.15 p.m., they passed away from their injuries.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed his condolences to the deceased’s family and expressed shock at Mr. Jacob’s passing. His cadaverous remains have been transported to his hometown of Coimbatore. On Saturday night, the last rites were performed.
